Our social cricketers come in all shapes and sizes, some seasoned pros some completely new to cricket. All sharing the same enthusiasm for summer evenings spent smashing sixes, taking wickets and sharing a drink and story or two. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, the Pirates ethos is all about fun friendly, whites free cricket.

The team are busy curating a host of both home and away fixtures in beautiful cricket grounds around Somerset. The only stipulations being, that the opposition are friendly and the Thatcher’s is on ice.
